JBITA (Japan Bobath Instructors Training Association) is an organization established to promote the Bobath concept-based approach, primarily through instructors certified by IBITA (International Bobath Instructors Training Association).
JBITA develops, organizes, and instructs Bobath Courses held in Japan.
This website provides information on JBITA’s activities and the Bobath Courses organized by JBITA, and we hope it will be of use to those interested in the Bobath concept.
Our Activity

We conduct training sessions and research activities to hone our skills as instructors.
Furthermore, we strive constantly to improve our knowledge and skills by attending Bobath International Conferences and participating in overseas Bobath courses.
We dispatch instructors to Bobath courses held in Asia.

Introductory Courses
Information Course
This is a Bobath introductory course lasting one day or more. It includes both lectures and practical sessions.
Introductory Module
This workshop provides practical training in posture and movement analysis and therapeutic intervention for individuals with central nervous system disorders, based on the Bobath Concept.
Basic Course
To attend the Certified Basic Training Course, you must first complete the Introductory Module (a prerequisite course for the Certified Basic Training Course).
The content and purpose of the training course adhere to the rules of the International Bobath Instructor Training Association (IBITA).
The certificate of completion issued upon finishing the course is also valid for Bobath certification courses held overseas.
Advanced Course
To attend the Advanced Certification Workshop, you must first complete the Bobath Foundation Certification Workshop.
The content and objectives of the workshop adhere to the rules of the International Bobath Instructor Training Association (IBITA).
The certificate issued upon completion is also valid for Bobath certification workshops held overseas.
